Mabrouka M'Barek
Mabrouka M’Barek is a doctoral student in sociology and was an elected member of the Tunisian National Constituent Assembly from 2011 to 2014. Her efforts focused on including provisions of food, resources, and economic sovereignty in Tunisia’s new constitution, which she helped draft, focusing on amendments which put an end to the non-disclosure of extractive contracts and permits and open the way to the Tunisian people’s determination over their nation’s material resources.
